announces the immediate release of the KV7 motherboard which is based on the
long-awaited KT600 chipset. VIA chipset based boards have always represented
good value for money and the KV7 should be a big step up from the often
criticised KT400 series. It will be interesting to see if it can take the

This is a budget solution for processors with an 800MHz FSB and it already has the backing of the major motherboard manufacturers. It utilizes Single-Channel DDR memory, however, we have been told that it performs as well as the more expensive Springdale and Canterwood boards.
